Turkish cement
TurkishCement.com represents a trading arm of Our Metals Ltd.
We work as an agent and as an export supplier of cement products from Turkey.
We work on FOB, CFR and CIF basis from any Turkish port and accept irrevocable and non-transerable L/C.
Deliveries to port are made directly from a manufacturing plant within 2 days from the date of L/C.
Cement comes in in 50 kg Kraft paper or polypolythen bags packed in 1.5MT to 2MT sling bags or big bags of 1 MT or 1.5 MT per bag.
Minimum volume per order is 3,000 MT with a maximum volume reaching 120,000 MT per month per client.
Annual contracts are welcome. Samples and visits to warehouse and factories in Turkey can be arranged on request.
All payments will be made to bank accounts in Turkey.
This is necessary in order to obtain the export declaration documents.
A buyer may use any inspection company they like, provided that this inspection company has offices in Turkey.
We work with a number of reliable logistic companies that can promptly ship cement products from any port in Turkey to any country worldwide.
Our mission is to form and open new distribution channels on an international level,
and we look forward to building a mutually benefitial and productive relationship with an established trading company, importer-distributor or an end user.
Why use us and not the manufactures?
- Our prices are competitive and generally lower than the ones offered by manufactures themselves because we have special quota allowenses.
- Majority of manufactures ask for cash prepayment - we work with L/C, so our payment terms are much more flexible.
- We can secure much earlier delivery than going directly to manufacturers.
This is because they have a waiting list and through our close contacts we have preference. Also manufacturers deal with certain inland transporters from factory to port where they have limited capacity in vehicles but where needed we can organize to do this with other transporters speeding up the proces equally the loading at the port
- Manufacturers do not get involved in logistics and work on FOB basis only, whereas we can work on CIF and CFR basis.
- Also, surprisingly manufacturers have shortage of foreign language speakers.
Clients
We currently work with 10 regular clients, who we supply with cement on monthly basis.
Direct sales are made to countries such as Cameroon, Equatorial Guine, Syria, Russia, Romania, Iraq, Libya.
At present, sales volume is about 350,000 tonnes per year and is increasing.
